The story
"For centuries, vampires and humans clashed in bloody conflicts. Chairman Kurosu wants to break this dark cycle, by opening an Academy where the futures of tomorrow can learn to coexist in peace. Cross Academy is thus split into Day Class and Night Class, and the two only meet during the changing of classes at dusk. Yuuki and Zero are the appointed school prefects, protecting the secret of the Night Class and maintaining harmony between the classes. But there is another secret lurking... There lies a legend that humans turn into vampires after being bit by one... How will Yuuki cope when she learns that Zero is slowly turning into a vampire? Can vampires and humans really coexist in peace?"

"Chapter 51" "Things are back to normal in Cross Academy & the students memories about the incident that happened a year ago were erased & they were convinced that the intruders who attacked the school were all just a "Crime Prevention Exercise", in this whole year Yagari was the one who took care of the school but now the Chairman is back & Yagari tells him that the head of the Ichijou group will change & he should not cut the connection with them, keep in good relationship with the Aidou Clan & lastly he must hold back on any contacts with Kaname Kuran.Yori & both dorm presidents memories were not erased & they try to talk to Zero about the night class but he warns them to back off & stop pestering him with all that if they dont want for their memories to be erased too.Yori tells Zero that he is not going to hunt Yuuki because she didnt do anything bad, zero gives her a smile & turn around to walk away.In the kuran mansion Yuuki starts remembering how she is going to run away from zero forever & then she remembers when she was a little she asked about what forever means to Kaname & how can a person be lonely if they live on and on forever.Then she suddenly starts hallucinating & starts talking to her little vampire self & she ends up getting thirsty after thinking about Kaname but he is not home, she then starts thinking about Zero again & she lusts for his blood as well so she tries to stop thinking like that & cries for Kaname.Aidou smells yuuki's blood & runs to find her, he sees her standing in front of a strange door.He asks her to not to wander around the house while hurt & he finds out that she bit herself. He tries to give her some blood tablets to control her thirst until Kaname comes home but Kaname arrives immediately & asks Aidou not to give the tablets to Yuuki.Kname gets happy to know that yuuki finally remembered how to use her fangs & he reminded her about how a vampire's hunger can only be quenched by the blood of their loved one & she says yes & then tells him that her hunger is not going to be completely quenched since a part of her heart is still attached to zero. He says he knows that & then she asks him if its okay for her to be with him despite that? & that she wants to be by his side forever." |

well said PSDOL-chan & I totally agree with you, yuuki knows very well that she cant be with zero & she has to run away from him forever & in chapter 51 she said that forever means loneliness to her so she is afraid of being lonely & thats why she is staying with kaname. I know what Im saying is probably hurting kanayuki fans but thats how it seems to me & to others as well but remember never give up on your fav pairing & have faith in them till the end xD
I will update the story so far section soon ^^
